Why choose cork?

- Durability: Cork is remarkably resistant to wear. Because of it's cellular composition it's not as susceptible to impact and friction as hard surfaces.
- Impermeability: The properties of cork give it an inherently waxy texture and makes it impervious to both liquid and gasses.
- Hypoallergenic: Cork does not absorb dust and consequently does not cause allergies.
- Thermal and acoustic insulation: Over 100 million cells per cubic inch filled with air and the prism shape of that structure, inhibit temperature change and sound.
- Anti microbial & insect repellent: Even termites are unwelcome. Suberin, the inherent substance of cork, is a natural insect repellent. Cork is also anti microbial.
- Easy maintenance: Waxing is no longer needed. Sweeping and mopping will be the usual maintenance. With proper care, your cork floor will last for decades.

Pre-Finished and Easy To Install
Lavita cork flooring is pre-finished with a water-based varnish,
so when it's laid, it's ready to use. Easy to handle panels snap together
with our self locking design, ensuring optimum fit. No glue, no nails,
it seals joints and gives a near-seamless finish.
